GG and I go all the way back to the old Official Jets team Message board. Damn it!!!! I can only hope he's in a better place now.. Rest in Peace Green Guy!!
Been away from the boards for a while and i find out this happened. My condolences to Green Guy's family. Well, actually we're all his family. So we lost a brother. RIP Green Guy
I can't think of any thing more to add to this thread, but echo the sentiments. As a longtimer, I had many posts with GG. Always found him to be a gentleman. This is truly sad sad news. Any way we can honor him, I'm all for. If there's a way we can find out if there's a way the family is paying tribute...a fund, anything... I'd love to know.
RIP Green Guy, what a shame. At least he was lucky enough to live to see the NYJ win a super bowl. My condolences and wishes go out to him and his family.
Like a lot of the old school people on the board, I too started back in 2000 - actually the day we were beating up the Ravens last game of the season, then blew it in the fourth quarter to lose the game and miss the playoffs - Back in the day, we would talk about Charlotte - he lived here when he was in NC, moved away right about the time I moved here -
I remember Green Guy from when I first joined back in the day, Awesome guy. God Bless Him. Rest in peace buddy.
I never met Green Guy but loved and appreciated his insight for sooooo many years. LV Coach..... as expressed recently in my email to you and D, God Bless. You guys are the best and this shouldn't happen to anyone! -Jeff
