    What are you talking about ? That picke was a stroke of genius ! Rodgers could have been the #1 pick in the entire draft and the Packers got him for a bargain-basement price of a low first rounder. They were very smart taking the best player available. And Favre was already an old QB so you have to plan for the future. The Packers did quite well in choosing Rodgers.

    True, Rodgers should have been the first pick that year instead of Alex Smith. Rodgers fell because of worries about the Tedford Curse, meaning QBs coached by Tedford fail in the pros. Examples would be D. Carr, J. Harrington, Dilfer, Akili Smith, and K. Boller. Not an impressive group at the pro level.

    GB felt it was time for Rodgers. He's a good QB. Their decision turned us into dreamers.
