Ha ha - I'm a Richmond man, I'm afraid...no relation to Whiskers. I'll be representing the London clique. I was at the Port-Geelong game a couple of weeks ago - not much chop as a game, but a couple of streakers kept it amusing. One had his jeans around his ankles - got about 7 metres and toppled over. I also took along an Irish colleague to contextualise the violence that Chris Johnson meted out last year in the Internationals (and Brendan Fevola dished up to a barman in Glaway). Aussie Rules is now her third favourite sport behind Gaelic football and Hurling... Back to the original topic now - Gee, doesn't Benny punt well? :grin:
me too, i see that i was finally counted...im one of the lucky ones (well in that i get to see the Jets weekly on the TV) i think i got on board sometime last year....

Great to see Graham starting to unload a few big ones! And didn't realise we had such a big swag of Aussies! As the world record holder for lurking on this site, I thought we had just 4 or 5, 20 was a big shock. BTW, what is TBJ up to? We offer him the big bucks and he doesn't get the report in!! Count me as another of the Oz contingent... been here since Benny started... but been a Jets fan since I lived in NYC in the late 70s for a stint.
I'm wondering about TBird too. He has gone a bit shy after all the attention. I'm sure regular Jets fans are a bit perplexed by all the focus on the punter. I predict they will create a new section on this site soon where we can talk all things punting without bothering anyone. I'm getting sick of every Ben Graham report getting the "are you guys serious, he's just the punter" treatment.
I suppose Punting is a 1% thing, but these things add up. Increased confidence in one department can flow to other parts of the game. If the defence know that they can consistantly guard against an opponents offence deep in their half, this will lift confidence in the offence that they will be able to get another crack at getting a score. It all adds up to increased pressure on the opposition.
