Well if you think Williams is a cornerstone to our rebuilding well that's just hilarious. Underwhelming is an understatement also. he just plain sucked for a #3 pick in the first round. Maccagnan had to be on crack or heroin making that pick.

Well said. This is the gospel reading of some Jet fans. Where underwhelming Or a bust implies did not make the pro bowl as a rookie. LOL

 

I'm one of those guys who believe great skill players don't need great blocking up front to be great, therefore stock your team with great skill players and you'll be fine. However, this Becton guy really has me excited to see him in action.

Look at the cartoon on the bottom (Jets 2020 Coloring Book). Who the F is Tidwell? Probably the artist; but if he didn't draw a bunch of penises for me to color in all over the New Cheatland Patriots then don't waste my time, Tidwell.

There was a good article in Newsday today about how Becton and Cameron Clark (4th round pick this year) worked out and got to know each other before the draft. I'm a big believer that its important to draft offensive linemen in the same year so they can learn together better as a unit. Hopefully the chemistry will be there for all of the o-line guys we picked up in the offseason and they can really gel.
