Goodell will cut his salary to $1 if there is a work stoppage

    10 million dollars to run something that for the most part runs itself.

    According to Peter King's MMQB, Goodell works too hard.

    I read that too.

    I don't like to speculate on other people's jobs no matter how easy it might look from the outside

    yeah i'm sure that there's paperwork on his desk most here won't even know what to do with, including read. so saying he does nothing but run a league that runs itself isn't really fair.

    having said that, goodell can eat a bag of dicks.

    What if the players, in the ultimate "Fuck You" maneuver, refuse to come out for the opening kickoff and don't play this weekend. What a glorious shitshow that would turn out to be! Pissed off fat guys wearing foam cheeseheads, dudes hanging themselves with terrible towels, Steeley McBeam in tears, lawsuits galore . . .

    It would be a great offseason.
