There's no doubt Legler is entitled to his opinions but there's also no doubt that the quality of discourse here has gone down the toilet with the endless one line response and gif routine.
you can have and voice your opinion. what you can't do is go on a 6 week troll/harass/spam hissy fit because others don't agree with yours
Hissy fit is definitely relative cause from my vantage point you and your cohorts are the ones having the hissy fit. Your opinions have absolutely no impact on my life. I’m not the one constantly bringing you guys’ name up or whining about your opinions, posts and comments.
The turn in the discussion came when a poster bitches about what he posted about. And then it all becomes a clusterfuck. Go back and read the timeline. You're one of the few that hasn't really engaged in the whining over a different opinion or any of the other sludge because I think you understand it's not that big of a deal. No idea why a lot of people here get so upset over gifs. It's fucking May on a Jets message board.
I don't think it's people getting upset over gifs. what it is is some people were trying to have a discussion and be excited about the jets for a 1st time in a decade and a few others made it their life's goal to ruin any enjoyment people had over the team because the team wasn't picking the player they wanted. The thing is everyone here seemed to agree we all trust in JD and overall he's the best GM we've had in a while (even if the bar is low) but the behavior suggests otherwise. I mean for me i made a thread of like 30 prospects I liked. JD didn't pick any of them even though the chances were there. the only player he picked i had looked into and wanted was wilson. but i'm happy with the draft because I trust JD and at the end of the day we all just want the jets to do good. but some people can't accept that and just want the jets to do what they want and are miserable if they don't and other people like what the jets did. Maybe wilson is a bust, maybe he's an all pro, maybe fields is a bust, maybe he's an all pro. we won't know for 3ish years really and zach is a jet so why can't we drop it all and just root for the kid to be good?
it is now with the draft done, but prior to the draft it was a huge disruption in good discussions that got the largest thread we had going locked
Only enough of an impact to live on here for months at a time responding to every single perceived slight, right?
