    Yes, this was well known from his time at Miami onwards. He passed every physical that he took for an NFL team.

    I wasn't thrilled with the pick when the Jets made it but I wasn't extremely concerned about the knee either as I recall.

    Neither one of them had the talent to go in a higher round. So, what's your point? that it's okay for one regime to draft players with a prior history, but not others?

    BTW he was DROTY. Stuckey still hasnt seen the field, and Smith has been shakey since he's been here.

    You guys are unbelievable.......this is the FIRST time Vilma has missed a game in his career.

    I have been very tough on Vilma, but to start saying he has cronic knee pain is just over the top. He had an injury, plain and simple. He's been a rock-solid other wise (on an injury note).

    Namath had chronic knee problems...Maybe tht Jets should be blasted for drafting him...
