[crickeets...] Man, it's true, not much good stuff out there. At least this went beyond, he had a tough road and he's ready for a new beginning. You're right about the sharing of duties, but Rhodes is gonna be the star calling the shots and Leonhard playing wingman, which means dirty work for wingman if I know star mentality.

I, too, am excited to see what a few players and a new aggressive mentality bring, but I must admit I've gone from skeptic to believer and now to worrier. I worry that the old axiom: "you cant buy a team" will come true and that at the end of the year there will be a lot of big contracts pointing fingers at each other. In my mind, the only trump to that is the coach. It is always the coach who has the biggest say in whether a team wins or loses, stands or crumbles. Mangini doesn't get proper credit for the team staying together dyuring 4-12 or 1-4 (or maybe he does), but there is one telling from leonhard's press conference, referring to baltimore's, Rex's, D, that I think is the key. He says: There is not one guy who?s played in that system that doesn?t love it. That's a blanket statement, unsolicited, and the greatest compliment I've ever heard. It's one thing to say you love love it, but its another to confidently say everyone loves it - that's when you know you've got someone who can get a team to believe in his vision. Ergo: Rex is the man.
