It's a good thing that you like it. My guess is that if the current management team is allowed to continue running the team we're going to see a few more seasons like this one. I'll be pissed off and miserable, but it sounds like you'll be just fine with it. Everybody has different tastes.
The bright side is that everyone that this FO has brought in so far has contributed very well. This year there are some talented OLBs and NT in the Draft that can help. I can see Tanny getting it right draft wise again and having the defensive core we need for seasons to come. He already gave us Harris and Revis, and Eric Smith. With picks on that level of consistency, we will have enough talent to return to the playoffs. As long as they remember it all starts up front in the trenches
You're always pissed off though. Almost champ-level pissed off. People get way too worked up over this stuff. It's just a game.
Everyone? Not quite. Schegel Barlow Ramsey Eric Smith (history of not staying healthy) Stuckey (see Smith) Clarke Bowens Devito D. Coleman Elam (has NOT made a positive impact in terms of results) Hicks (borderline) Kimo
I think what they meant is that we have 2 solid players to BUILD our OL around. Mangold is the best yoiung center in football and Brick maybe the best young pass protector.
Thank you... The 'myth' that our FO has done very well in free agency is just that, a myth.... And you know what? I'm almost tempted to add Kenyon Coleman to that list... He's been alright, but he hasn't been good by any means, as is evident by our COMPLETE lack of run defense an a pass rush.... Our FO did very well in its first draft, and alright in its second draft, but other than that... Not so much
