man used to watch all those Gzilla movies back in the day - sundays i remember - godzilla flick with a bit of abbott/costello and then some jets football..... favorite one was king kong vs godzilla... geez looking back some of those flicks could have been filmed in a bathtub.
I don't know about you guys, but me and wifey were huge MST3000 fans and we used to wake up on Saturday mornings just to see them rag on really bad SciFi movies. I really miss that show mainly because there's a few modern movies I'd love to see them rip apart.
That show was brilliant, it was way ahead of it's time but you can't be a dummy and get the jokes either. I find that Family Guy and Robot Chicken in a way ripped off some of the schtick in MST3000 with the gimmick of out of left field references to pop culture.
I dunno why it hasn't been resurrected yet but with all the bullshit out there on DirecTV and the earthbound stations, I think out of 1000 or more channels they could find space for MST3000.
Never happen. Joe Walsh can print money any time he wants by going on the road with the eagles (gag/retching sounds).
Did not like Pacific Rim. This, on the other hand, looks like the Godzilla movie I've been waiting for since I was a kid. In the mean time:
The fact that the trailer reveals there will be other MUTOs makes me excited. I dont think this will end up being Godzilla vs Army...It may start that way. But I think we will get Godzilla vs a Monster. If that occurs I will get movie boner if there ever was one
Godzilla vs Army would be very boring at this point. A drone, a cruise missile and he's BBQ dinosaur.
The trailer did say that they tried to nuke it in 1954 and he ate that crap for breakfast. Drones and cruise missiles are like mosquito bites to it. Briefly there is a clip of a monster flying from the sky and going in water. I think that is rodan.
