Inability to learn would be the conservative bag. How else do you explain the backwards social stance?
You lost to Donald fucking Trump. Pointing the finger is easy, but generally doesn't accomplish anything. Try pointing the thumb and considering why we arrived at this point.
We arrived at this point because a significant number of people voted for him. That's how elections work, I'm not sure why you need this explained. Take a good look at what you voted for, happy?
unless you live in a swing state like Florida or PA, or in a very small state with a disproportionate amount of electoral votes like Wyoming, your vote doesn't matter much under the current construct. I'd say that's a huge problem, with large portions of the country already being marginalized. That is also part of the reason we have the lowest voter turnout in the developed world. Then add in that the more popular candidates aren't winning.....there are some fundamental issues at play with the electoral setup.
Really because the only person here who's had a valid argument against anything I've said is NSN correcting me about trumps comments on the wall. Chairman Vice President-elect and Indiana Gov. Draining the swamp, huh?
I think the biggest problem is people don't go out and vote. This is especially true in the primaries. We need to pick better candidates - both sides. Nearly 50% of the country didn't bother to show up on November 8th. Surely your vote doesn't matter if you don't bother do show up.
There's so much take about Hillary this and Hillary that and how weak democrat leadship is, and that's why trump got elected. Let's go back a little bit here and examine how weak republican leadership was that he walked into your house and punched your shit in. This could have been stopped at a lot of phases of the game. Saying that a weak democratic party shoulders the blame for fielding Hillary is only half the truth. The republicans shoulder the blame for letting trump get this far.
If he walked into our house and punched our shit in, what did he just do to you???? He just became President of the United States! You should be ashamed that HRC is the candidate that was the nominee for the Dems
Way to avoid the question. Trump punched a majority of the republican's in the gut when he won the nomination, but my god, did he just defecate all over the democratic party by winning on Tuesday.
What do you expect? The electoral college just voted a casino owner into the White House. I'm surprised Vince McMahon isn't Secretary of Defense. 90% of your arguments in this thread have been raging and calling people racists. At this point you are just a cartoon.
Funny how our racist, homophobic, mysoginst president elect has a list that includes - African American, Women, Jews, and Homosexual. Conservative Republican says they disagree with Obama's views and we must be racist right? So why do you disagree or dislike Ben Carson, so much -- are you a racist?
Ben Carson’s fiery rhetoric over the past two years has included multiple examples of his opposition to LGBT equality. Marriage : Carson has said that he does not believe marriage equality is a civil right. He has stated that marriage equality is inconsistent with his religious beliefs, and believes that Congress should fire judges who rule in favor of it. He also supported Alabama judges who defied a ruling that granted residents access to same-sex marriage. Discrimination: Carson defended Gov. Mike Pence’s right to discriminate law. He suggested many discrimination claims are just trumped up “political correctness” and joked that LGBT couples might have their wedding cakes poisoned by anti-equality bakers. Executive Order: Unclear Conversion Therapy: Carson suggested that being LGBT was a choice because of “prison.” While he later tried to retract his analogy, he was ambiguous about whether or not he believed being LGBT was a choice, stating that the science was unclear. The belief that sexual orientation and gender identity is a choice is the foundation for discredited “conversion therapy” efforts that has been banned in some states after minors undergoing the so-called “therapy” committed suicide. Adoption: Declined to support the ability of LGBT couples to adopt children, saying that he wanted to find out first how it impacted the sexual orientation of the children. Anti-Bullying: Unclear Harmful Rhetoric : Carson said that supporters of same-sex marriage are intolerant. He also compared same-sex marriage to bestiality and The North American Man/Boy Love Association (NAMBLA) and suggested that same-sex marriage would lead to an “open season” on Christians. Carson’s Notable Quotes on LGBT Equality Carson Compared Same-Sex Marriage To Bestiality And NAMBLA . During an interview with Sean Hannity, Carson said, “Well, my thoughts are that marriage is between a man and a woman. It's a well-established, fundamental pillar of society and no group, be they gays, be they NAMBLA, be they people who believe in bestiality, it doesn't matter what they are, they don't get to change the definition. So it's not something that's against gays. It's against anybody who wants to come along and change the fundamental definitions of pillars of society. It has significant ramifications.” [Fox Nation, 4/1/2013 , VIDEO] Carson Said Prison Proves That Being LGBT Is “Absolutely” A Choice. In an interview with CNN’s New Day: “Asked whether being gay is a choice, Carson responded: ‘Absolutely.’ ‘Because a lot of people who go into prison go into prison straight -- and when they come out, they're gay. So, did something happen while they were in there? Ask you that question,’ Carson said. That argument, Carson said, ‘thwarts’ the notion that homosexuality isn't a choice, which is at odds with the majority of the medical community, including the American Psychological Association, who says ‘most people experience little or no sense of choice about their sexual orientation.’” [CNN, 3/4/2015 ; VIDEO] http://www.hrc.org/2016RepublicanFacts/ben-carson
