I think a lot of the conferences are catching up to the USA leagues, it is definitely easier to start a new team in a new league then rebuilding a struggling team.
For sure. I wish when I started GMing the Rednecks in that div ^ that I'd gone for the whole rebuild , rather than patch up. having said that we are getting there faster than I thought possible, as others are also falling. Our turn soon???

^That hurts. One team that I GMed just recently sold due to disinterest from the owner. My QB's team is battling for a playoff spot while my DE just got his 1st sack of the season just last game.
My DE , Mark Gastineau_ is doing really well , hes hitting well above his weight and now has 6tkls and 4 sacks. Doesn't sound much but hes double teamed virtually every play and most of the linemen he comes up against are much higher levels. Should do very well next season after he levels up.
On pass rush I use combo , seems to work quite well fir sacks. Which end does he play? Gast' is RDE on my team.
I find that most of my RDEs are now getting more sacks than my LDEs , don't know if Bort has fiddled with something.
Good luck. I've tried to buy another, but not allowed yet. It sucks that so many new owners buy for novalty, then sell up back to the CPU after a season or less. Then established owners can't buy another. Got my Wiki site working now too :beer: We fell short too. We finished 8th which meant we played the undefeated div winners. Lost 24-48, which is alot more than alot of other teams did against them. I will have my own HB joining us too next season, which will see Curtis martin and Emerson Boozer paired up in the back field hmy:

Both of my teams are on the cusp of the perfect season. My Oceania team has been absolutely destroying the playoff teams. Its almost unfair.
