Goal line Blitz

I just created my first real glory position with HB Rick "24K" Roller. He's going to be part of a two headed monster by next season, right now he's just earning some XP.

So many of you guys created DTs, care to share your strategy in doing so?

I keep hearing people say you should be adding Skill points to blocking every so often for DT's. Any idea why that would be?

 

Not sure. Some of the categories are weird. I dumped all my starting points into throwing on my QB thinking that would allow me to launch the ball, but now I find out that in order to have good arm strength I need to have my points in strength. Right now I'm running the MMORPG version of Chad Pennington.

 

They say that it helps in shedding blocks, but then again I am practically a rookie when it comes to making defensive players

 

Same here, although I do see that launching the ball is impossible in that game until he gets to higher levels otherwise it gets ugly very quick.

 

My first game was pretty decent statistically except for one glaring number: 4.1 yards per catch!!! My total yards was lower than my completion percentage... I need to develop some kind of arm strength fast!

 

Backup DE on the 6-1 Budapest Devils. Lvl 6.

 

I hate when people do that. It's basically a video game, and people complain about being on losing teams.

 

Aye, in sims everybody usually takes a turn at sucking. Best to stay put.

I haven't put any points in blocking yet for my DE or DT, but they only have one sack between them. Hard to tell if thats the actual reason or not, but I hate the idea of wasting points in it if it turns out to be a minor thing. Probably better just to train it for now.

 

I wouldnt mind if it was just because we have bad players but the owner doesnt seem to be smart at all it would be like saying its ok to stay on the Raiders just because they might turn it around. 2 years and no improvement I think I gave it a try waiting to see if would get better.

How did this season go for your teams, i missed the playoffs with both my teams, I had a decent year with my OT though

 

My team went one and done in the playoffs, but my TE was an alternate for the conference probowl...

 

So so. My DE was signed with a USA pro team, but slipped from starter, I don't know why, Even though the other DE was a level 16, my level 8 had much better stats.
