    1. Rosen - such a pure, natural thrower. Goes through reads very quickly. Matt Ryan comparison. Only injuries/lack of interest can bring him down.
    2. Allen - his competitiveness is more impressive than his arm talent. He isn't anything like Hackenberg (who wilts under the slightest amount of pressure and needs a clean pocket to even have a chance at an accurate throw). Best case scenario, Allen is some hybrid of Wentz, Rothlisberger, Rodgers, Newton. Worst case scenario, he's a more mobile version of a down-year Joe Flacco.
    3. Mayfield - his numbers are inflated because he played in a well coached, spread offense with superior talent. If you watch any of his games, there are significantly more easy yardage screen passes and wide open receivers compared to that of any of the other quarterbacks. That being said, Mayfield's fast decision making and processing ability is impressive. I don't know if it's a product of being on a well-coached team, so we'll have to see. I think if teams can take away his first read, he will struggle mightily. He will need time to learn an NFL offense, and I think his floor is lower than Allen's floor. I'm not too concerned about his height or his arm. His arm strength is fine to be honest.
    4. Darnold - the more games I watch, the less I'm impressed. He makes impressive throws here and there but he's very inconsistent with his accuracy. I also think his arm strength is average. He holds onto the ball for too long and is indecisive. More mobile but less accurate Eli Manning? Something along those lines.

If we draft anyone other than Rosen, they will most likely sit for most, if not all, of their first year. Also, as we all know, nobody knows how these players will act as professionals. Do they stop caring once they make millions? Do they have a good support system provided by friends, family, advisers? Does the team they get drafted to develop players well? What is the team atmosphere? Does somebody suffer a freak injury? etc, etc

Really the only ones that are outlandish are the Allen at 1 lists. The rest are absolutely reasonable for the most part.

This is a list that needs explanation.

I'm not saying it's bad, but the rationale could be pretty interesting.

They are the four I’ve watched play. Rosen is clearly the best, Darnold the worst of the four. Mayfield I have the most concern about because I’m not convinced his play in college will be replicated in the pros but he’s still worth drafting, and Jackson is a damn good player who you embrace as a running QB and worth taking the time to develop the rest of his game.

    It happens.

I thought I'd take an awesome dump this morning and ended up clogging the toilet with a twelve wiper.

The world we live in is ugly.

You're a smart guy, you will overcome.

I don't think Darnold can be described as the worst, but it is easy to fear a turnover prone USC QB, especially when some of his turnovers are quite Sanchez-esque.

From what I've seen at least, if I were going for that sort of QB, I'd rather take Darnold than Allen. Unlike Allen, Darnold managed to stay accurate despite his mechanical issues. Also, for all everyone credits Allen with having no supporting cast, if you watch Darnold's film you can actually see his receivers running into each other and frequently not knowing their assignments. Darnold's supporting cast this year let him down repeatedly.

That said, I think we are all tired of turnovers.

ROFLOL!! Dude, I only posted once (post #11 in the thread), but I must be really inside your head since you hallucinated and saw it twice! At least I had the balls to put my opinion/ranking out there. All you can do is make fun of other's opinions, you don't even have the balls to post your own ranking. You also shouldn't be so quick to gloat. You may wind up having to eat your words.

Even if I wind up being disappointed, it certainly won't be the first time being a Jets fan. I'm pretty used to it by now.

I was mostly referring to Jethro's post. He had Mayfield at like number 7, which is funny considering we were listing top 4. I think some folks are just really passionate because they are making lists that have 3 QBs listed and then 4th is halfway down the page indicating this huge dropoff in talent. I get that some people dislike certain prospects, but I found that part of it pretty hilarious.

    2 more weeks!
