Harbaugh would probably retire before coming to this franchise but it still doesn't HURT TO FIND OUT!!!! Nope, hadn't you folks heard? Woody is a BILLIONAIRE so, by extension, smarter than everyone else because he has money. Who are we for him to deign taking into account what his fans think is a good idea. Shit, there are no less than 5 or 6 people on this board who have more football acumen in a single strand of hair compared to Johnson AND his whole family combined.
Who needs Harbaugh, what has he ever done? We have a young better version in Glenn coming off spectacular rookie season!
Well my dreams of firing Glenn and hiring John Harbaugh are squashed… I just don’t get it… the only way Glenn made himself safe this season is that they made the trades for all the picks and then tanked on purpose. No, other reasons to keep him unless it was the plan.
Bad hand with Trevor Lawrence? He certainly didn't turn out to be generational as expected, but still a pretty good QB. Just finished 3d 4000 yard season in 5 years (while learning a new system yet again) with 58 QBR, 38 TDs (29 passing), 12 TOs, and the poor coach that inherited him just won 13 games and another division title. I wish the Jets had such bad hand. I am not even against Pederson compared to this coach, but for Jets fans to complain that Lawrence is not very good when we had #32 starter for most of last 15 years is something else.
Since the Jags bye he was one of the top QBs in the league and even got himself in to the top 5 of the MVP race. Liam Coen has made him a VERY good QB, which Pederson could not
John Harbaugh is now available, so Woody should rethink Glenn. Harbaugh is the 12th winningest HC in NFL history and only 63. The Giants are already trying to land him.
I wanted Pete for 2025. I think he is fully capable of coaching 6 more years. Let him pick a coordinator to be coach in waiting. He isn't why the Raiders stunk it up, neither is Geno, for that matter. High School level O-line talent makes it hard to participate.
With all due respect everything you posted there is going to look and sound a lot better with a quick glace at his stats page and without having actually spent a fair amount of time watched any of it play out on the field. As somebody who lives an hour from the stadium I'd actually make the argument that the Jags' 13 wins is one of the bigger mirages of the 2025 season. Fueled by a lot of situational breaks falling in their favor. That contrary to what the "QB wins" crowd will want to believe by default also has had very little to do with this concept idea that Trevor Lawrence and his fluffier TD:INT ratio has somehow played "better". At least outside fantasy football values and the year long tendency to vulture every goal line rush TD he could while trolling the holy hell out Jag skill player owners ( i had Brian Thomas Jr too. JFC wtf happened there lol) Those extra rush TD btw (that QBR likes) also being more a product of a guy still not being able to make the most simple of throws at times. I regret a lot of things in our extended lore of Jets fail. Missing out of the opportunity to draft Trevor Lawrence isn't one of them. Absolutely nothing would have changed in the failure timeline imo. We'd just of been swapping out one massive developmental bust *here* for another leading into that swoon at Rodgers' feet offseason.
I hate Stephen A Smith but I agree with every second of this. https://x.com/i/status/2008979196912259108 He destroys Woody, Glenn and the entire organization and says Moore should stay as far away from the draft as he can. Said if he was a family member he would give the kid food poisoning before he plays this week to avoid the Jets. Congrats Glenn truthers, this is the joke we have become.
I hate Stephen A Smith. It's like all these guys are purposely trying to sabotage the Jets by trying to influence QB prospects to not come here. It's ridiculous. Yes, the Jets are inept, but SAS continues to poison the well like this just like he does for the knicks.
Fuck that guy. Talk about a worthless asshole who’s never contributed a single original worthwhile thought to the world in his pathetic worthless life. I’m embarrassed for him on behalf of humanity in general. Not a fan.
Woody poisoned the well, as much as I can't stand Stephen A I would love for someone to tell me what part of what he said is wrong. He basically just echoed what 80 percent of us have said every day.
True, but he shouldn't be saying that publicly, especially as somebody with so much influence and followers. It's one thing for a fan to rant, but to actually try to sabotage the franchise is messed up. He's not even a Jets fan. You know Dante Moore is going to see that and wonder why the fuck reporters in NY are telling him to say away from a NY franchise. We really do have the worst sports media in the country. The Jets are just not allowed to have nice things. If they have a chance, oh they decide to stay in school, or they get injured or some other bullshit.
Maybe if he was Cimini, he's national and gets paid for people to watch his shows. He's just telling it like it is, everyone knows it he is just putting a national voice on how most of us feel. I'm glad he did it, someone had to, maybe Woody will wake the fuck up.
