    Ha! Exactly.

This team is 5th in points allowed. Last year we were more imposing on D, but allowed last minute drives to lose and couldn't answer on offence. This year we can. We're just outside the top 10 in scoring.

Which plays? Seriously, name some specific ones.

He got burned on the Walter drop, but other than that he played a brilliant game.

I rewound that play a few times after.. I'm pretty sure that was Eric Smith's fault.. he was very late getting over there.

I think the team will step up when we play against top teams. Let's just analyze what happened in those games this year.

1.- We lost to the Ravens 10-9. The offense played like shit and we still were in contention until the very end. Also, it was the first game of the season, we didn't have Santonio, we lost Jenkins in the second play of the game and Revis was at 20% of his capabilities. And, last but not least, we shot ourselves in the foot repeteadly when we were in position of taking the lead.
2.- We beat the Pats 28-14. It was far from a perfect game but we completely outplayed them for most of the game, after that shaky start. And Revis got injured in that game.
3-. We lost to the Packers 9-0. Again, awful effort by our offense but the defense stepped up and played their best game of the season. And, since then, our offense has improved tremendously. If that game was played today, I'm sure the result would have been different.

Bottom line, this Jets team plays on the same level than the teams they face. We have been clinical enough to win 8 games and have narrowly lost 2. It's true that we're 1-2 in contests against top teams, but it's also true that we could have won those two games. And we will be ready for the Patriots in two weeks.

    DEFINITELY HALF FULL!
We don't need to be perfect to get to the Superbowl ... we only need to be better than everyone else in the AFC ... and I believe that we are.
I'm getting sick of all this "lucky Jets" BS I'm hearing all over the media.

I guess the favorites are supposed to be the Pats and the Steelers??? Well we already beat the Pats by 2 touchdowns. I hear all this crap about how our wins weren't convincing enough so we're not real contenders ... but meanwhile I guess it doesn't matter that the Pats got the snot kicked out of them by the Browns. So we win close and its not good enough, but they lose ugly and it doesn't matter??? How exactly does that make any sense?

And the Steelers ... first of all they've lost 3 games ... they lost ugly to the Pats and they were lucky to beat the Dolphins. They also came within a dropped pass at the goal line to blowing a big lead to the Bengals! I also saw them blow a late lead to the Ravens because they couldn't get a first down to ice the game ... and then they let Flacco move down the field like a hot knife going through butter. So... we're lucky to be 8-2 but their lucky breaks don't get mentioned.

Does anyone realize we haven't trailed by more than 10 points ALL YEAR???

I'm not worried about the Pats and the Steelers ... they better be worried about us. As my boy Westhoff says ... "FUCK THEM".

Good lord, it's not half anything it's full of testicular fortitude.

The offense makes plays and our defense held the Texans to 7 points through 3 quarters. We just have to learn how to put teams away. Personally I'd go with the hot hand, (Mark) and fuck the ground & pound.

We're 8-2, best record in the league, in first place and our better ball is still coming.

    Empty my ass.
