I disagree... This was David Vs Goliath....

If it was the Jets Vs the Undefeated Monster then we would cherish the 1st 3 quarters of sparing and keeping the game exactly where and how you want it....

You speak of a snooze fest as if you're some football wife watching her 1st game of the year.

I was on the edge of my seat for 3 quarters in a house full of Pats fans who were pacing and biting their nails - it was the most intense 3 quarters of non-Jets football I have ever watched.

And yeah. THE BEST SUPERBOWL EVER.... Giants or not.

I actually predicted this entire run and possible outcome back when the Giants lost to the Viking this year and Giants fans were ready to shoot themselves and give Eli away to the lowest bidder so, IMO, I kinda felt right there with Giant fans and really even above the one's who threw in the towel weeks earlier.... as in "Dude YOU gave up weeks ago.. I've always been here knowing what Eli and the Giants could do.... Now Sit down."

Ironically, if there is a Giants fan right now that thinks Sanchez is the shit while I think he's toast and that Giant fan predicts the jets could make a run and win a Super Bowl THIS year and the Jets do it. we could actually swap spots......

    BRING IT!!!

People forget that NE "struggled" late in the year and at home in the AFC playoffs, this was not the early season juggernaut that was humiliating teams. It was not a great game, it was a great ending just like the SB the next year which actually had an even more exciting ending btw Pitt and Ari.

If anything the last couple of years has proven coming in second means very little to any fan base. It's about winning the SB. The Giants have simply been better at it organizatonally than the Jets have been for a very long time.

Whining about it in a thread doesn't change it. Going on a 6 game winning streak will.

Well, we don't affect the outcome of the games....so I'll just whine about it instead.

What a bunch of pathetic crying in this thread.

The Giants are a head and shoulders better franchise. Losing two AFC championship games back to back doesn't change that.

The Eagles went to 5-6 NFC championship games and only made one superbowl which they lost. Who says the Eagles are a great franchise because of that?

The Giants have won 3 superbowls in my life time.

The Jets haven't even made it to one since my father was a teenager.

    Pathetic.

so some fluke catch by a scrub that's not in the league anymore is why the Giants are better?

RIGHT NOW JETS>>>>> GIANTS and it's not EVEN CLOSE. No one respects Eli and Coughlin around the league, Eli's mopey ass won a chip on the back of his defense nothing more. Over the past three years Jets has garnered more respect and attention from media, teams, and fanbase than the Giants.

At this moment Jets>> Giants and I don't see how you can argue otherwise.

As a Jet fan it is hard to say we have a more relevant team historically. However if you look the at the body of work the last 10 years it is hard to argue that the Giants are the better/superior team... The only saving grace for the Giants is the Superbowl.

Also The last decade the Jets winning % and playoff appearances would surprise many. Since 2000 to 2010 we have had 8 years of 9 victories or more, and made 6 playoff appearances. I am not including 2011 for obv reasons. The Giants have 6 seasons during the same span of 9 victories or more and have made the playoffs 6 times also.

So are the Giants the big brother, superior team, owners of NY???

    I DONT THINK SO!
