The Giants talked in 07 because everybody was laughing at them. Literally laughing. "Were only going to score 17 points? Ok! Is Plax playing defence?" hahah

Then they backed it upon the field and shoved the ball down the Pats throats.

Talk all you want, but you better back it up. Otherwise your a joke, like the Jets.

They talked for years and years, Strahan was a loudmouth telling the world how great his Ds were and they never showed up in big spots until that run in 2007. The jets backed it up 2 of the last 3 years.

Again, there is a difference. Allllllll teams have players who talk smack. They're the ones out there fighting for yards, the ball, scoring. How many teams have a coach who talks as smack as Rex does???

it isn't SB or bust, we had 2 really successful seasons, the ONLY team in the NFL to make 2 title games int he last 3 seasons. That's a nice run for our franchise.

The good thing too is that we're still intact, albeit with some issues. When we made it in 1982 we had a new coach, QB and stadium 18 months later, after 1998 Parcells was gone by the next year with Belichick and half the staff bolting for New England and Keyshawn traded. This time we not only made it twice, we have a chance to regroup and come back at it with the same basic leadership and core of the team.

Absolutely, we need to tweak some things and make a few moves but it's crazy to want drastic moves made like getting a new HC or GM.
