If he's there, he should still be our pick regardless of Pace and Thomas' contract numbers. The real question is will he be there.
I still think he will, his good combine was expected. The fact that he did a little better than the potential #1 overall pick in the "athleticism test" shouldn't shock most scouts. I feel he's still the #7 best player in the draft which means he'll fall to us at 6... unless Davis picks him up at 4, but with Sapp's retirement- i think its going to be Ellis at 4, since he has California ties.
