    That's completely unrealistic.

If you had to pick the two best 3-4 OLB's in the game off the top of your head, who would you pick?

Bryan Thomas and Vernon Gholston, they were both drafted in the first round and they both played DE in college, proving the wisdom of the Jet strategy. Now, who would you pick?

    Porter and Harrison...

W/ Ware and Merriman(as long as he is healthy) are right there as well...

I am really of the opinion any more that unless the league adopts some kind of rookie cap structure; anyone with a high first round pick, unless they are absolutely certain the guy will come in and contribute, is way better off trading down for other picks. The general payoff value vs. $$ tendered seems to work out much better for the team.

At least Bryan Thomas was the 22nd or 23rd pick in the draft; that is a huge difference from Gholston at #6.

This Gholston-bashing is riduculous and a total wate of time. Yes...he's not been the impact player we were hoping for. You're not happy...I get that.

Let's give the kid another year to right himself.

By the way abyzmul...I'm 100 percent in agreement with you.
