Here we go again with Rex shooting his mouth off about Buston Gholston...

I appreciate his tenacity and brash attitude, but he needs to fucking relax when speaking about this piece of shit.

they failed to mention that the batted pass was by accident...he was trying to do the YMCA dance during the play.

He obviously caught sight of a butterfly in the air and wanted to make sure it didn't get hurt amoungst all those big football players, ball just happened to hit him.

Nah I wish Gholston all the best, hope the switch finds a player in there somewhere

Gholston is as strong as a tree.

Maybe he can throw apples at the QB like those trees in the Wizard of Oz?

agreed on that point, but what was ridiculous about the whole situation was asking him to move to OLB given his stiff ass hips, lack of quick lateral movement and agility, low football IQ, and a lack of fire/determination.

Vernon Gholston scored a 21 on the Wonderlic, which is considered about "average".

Not that that is his football IQ, whatever that is.

i always felt Gholston was best suited for DE....as some of the other posters in this thread have alluded to, if Gholston is to succeed its in this position on this defense..

this is a make or break year for him...

if he shits the bed that's the end of Vern.

What's crazy is, he'll still be a millionaire. Can't wait for that rookie pay scale.

    agreed...

I've NEVER understood giving rookies such large guarenteed contracts when they haven't done a damn thing on the professional level...there really is NO protection for the team in that case, who often times are punished for drafting high.

Thankfully Gholston isn't paid a rediculous amount of money anymore since he redid his contract.

So I read Rex's comments as Ghost seriously indulged in some HGH and roids this offseason. He sure looked like he had some chemical help at Ohio State.

The cap is needed, Bradford getting 50 fucking million? Rumors of CJ Spiller, at 9 asking for Top 5 pick money.
