I don't understand why people want Singletary to come in here. As bad as Sutton was as d-coordinator I think he's done a pretty good job with the linebackers, and Singletary has no idea how to handle his players. Jim Bouton wrote in Ball Four that when Yogi Berra was a coach, once while instructing batting practice instead of showing fundamentals or discussing the finer arts of hitting he got frustrated and said "ah fuck it watch me do it." Some players that were great just don't have the wherewithal or patience to be good teachers because it came so easily to them.
