Personally, I think Criner is a whole lot better than Toon, and he also has more upside. If he ran a 4.5 40 at the combine, he would be a sure fire 2nd round pick. Him tanking in the 40 was great for a team like the Jets, because if you watch the kid play, he is everything we need, and now his stock fell a little bit allowing us to get a steal in the 3rd.

After the senior bowl, he was in the discussion for being a top 5 WR in the class solely because of his play on the field. Now he is in the 7-10 range because of the combine. 40 times are deceiving- Kendall Wright, on tape, looks to be one of the fastest WR’s coming out because he can get separation, but his 40 time didnt say that...

People say times can be deceiving, and they're right, but for every deceiving time you also have guys like Peter Warrick and Limas Sweed who don't get separation at the next level.

I like Wright, but for guys like Criner and Sanu, I wouldn't necessarily discount a bad 40 time simply because Anquan Boldin overcame it. Some guys, like Marquis Walker and Maurice Stovall, didn't, despite excellent college production.
