What city would they move to where they were guaranteed to have full coffers no matter how many wins they got in any season? The Jets are the 8th most valuable team in the NFL and haven't been to the playoffs in over a decade.
I wasn't talking about monetary reasons. Just moving cities in a fresh start kind of way, as the post I quoted said a change of uniforms. I know they are rich and shit, just makes it even more frustrating that we can't pay for a top class coach, coaching team to rock up and turn this franchise around. You'd think there would be one have a go hero out there thinking, you know I could be in the hall of fame if I got this shower of shit turned around. All gas no brakes it is then.
Nobody wants to coach for them. I know people will say McCarthy but he actually went to a team with a more meddlesome owner than the Jets, so that must be his thing now. The Jets have had to hire rookie head coach after rookie head coach because nobody knows them and nobody likes them, nobody with skins on the wall is going to take a chance on the ownership equivalent of wallflowers. They are outsiders and it shows.
The Jets need like an 18 year old genius running the team. Somebody who didn't even know football existed 2 years ago. It couldn't possibly be worse than what we've had for the last decade, arguably for most of the last 50 seasons.
The Jets lost to the only real NY team today. Not only did we abandon NY in the 70's but we moved into our stepbrother's basement.
