I really appreciate the time you take to put this together. Is there a chance you can start incorporating Sanchez in those stats? I just say this because he's the most recent Jets QB that we can compare to and I know many would be encouraged to see if Geno is doing better. Plus the schedule is very similar to our 2009 campaign. I'll do it for this week.

Also I calculated 4.7 rushing average for geno. Am I mixing that up? You divide the yards by the attempts to get the average right?

I'm curious also how you make it into a nice chart with borders like that. It looks hella sweet! I put the Sanchez #s in the code above.

So far Mark is slightly behind Geno but not by much. It is promising to see that Geno's comp% through 9 games is currently higher than Sanchez' career average.

Atlanta, Buffalo, New England. He has unquestionably played well in those games, was clutch as hell vs the falcons in particular. and had an assorted batch of good plays in other games.

Eugene also isn't infallible, hes made horrible mistakes that have killed games, namely the titans and steelers games.

but to not even admit he's done some good is just being dishonest and biased.

It's funny looking at Andrew Luck's statistics. I am a big fan of Luck, but Reggie Wayne has helped that man more than anyone would ever know.

I wonder what Luck's stats would look like if he were on the Jets ...

This guy probably came out if the woodwork because that inbred Bucs QB he's got a man crush on managed to win last night.

I've seen quite a bit that I'm really excited about with Geno so far, and as others have stated a number of things that definitely need work. The plus' are that he has fantastic deep accuracy and a strong arm when given time. He also delivers a confident accurate throw despite a pass-rusher coming at him face first. He is not on the level of Cam or RG# in terms of athleticism, but he is elusive scrambling out of the pocket (if he doesn't stand there too long) and is shifty enough to make one defender miss in open space. His deep throws come out with confidence as well.

He still sits in the pocket a bit too long sometimes, but that is definitely getting better. I'm excited to see what he will do this week with Holmes returning. Actually I'm excited to see what MM will do, finally we have an offensive coordinator who knows what part of the team to lean on against each opponent. The Bills have a very solid front 7 so I expect to see a much higher percentage of pass plays this week in an attempt to exploit their secondary.

I wonder what Luck's stats would look like if he had Megatron.

You can play that game all day, if you have a gret receiver you go to him. Folks want to ding him because he throws passes to...a really great receiver.

    So silly.

If Geno had Wayne Or Megatron I would hope he threw to him on every down

The thing is, he also has TY Hilton who isn't a scrub. I prob wouldn't throw to Wayne on every down especially in double coverage, but Megatron if there were 3 guys on him I DEFINITELY still would.

At the end of the day, it's about having someone reliable out there, Kerley is reliable but other then that, no one else really is. Kerley is only a slot receiver at best a #3, he's not a #1 like Wayne is. Cotchery was reliable on pretty much every down as a #2.

Looks very similar to the stats Cam Newton was putting up. I'll take it.

I think if they give Geno a true big reliable threat over the middle--geez what I would give for a guy like Jimmy Graham--he's going to put up huge numbers. Not that I don't like Cumby or Winslow, I do, but a true (healthy) stud pass catching TE will make him so much better. At some point we have to get one of those.
