Most young qb's are guilty of this.

It was a yard or two ahead of him. Easily.

He played a good game despite the result , im just still struggling with that call on deep ball to sudfeld on field goal range. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth especially because in that play he had the screen open. That call/read changed the whole game.

Nelson makes that catch as he did all game long streching out his hands

See, certainly there are people that agree with you that that INT changed the game, but I totally disagree. Obviously if they get a TD there the game is probably different. If they get a FG I am not sure that it would be. But either way GB got the ball at the 3 yard line and cut through the Jets defense like nothing to score. THAT is what changed the game. The defense not getting a stop there or basically anywhere again.

    That drive
The 80 yard catch and run
and the 9 yard lacy run when we just pinned them against their own goal line were just as pivotal if not more so than the int.

Geno played about as good as anyone could expect, and honestly he is one of the few on the team that shouldn't shoulder much, if any of the blame for the team blowing the lead. With Decker in, he was passing at around a 67% rate and was doing a great job of moving the offense. With him out, he was working with what he had the best he could. The interception obviously wasn't his fault. He can't help if Winter's is a turnstile. He also did a good job learning from Game 1 and remembering to slide on his runs.

Honestly if Geno plays like this every game and the Jets defense remembers that they are the Jets defense we will win alot of games.

He un-learned that for a few plays on Sunday.

I would like to believe this....errrm !!! But 2nd time I've seen this play to Sudfeld in same spot.....and same result. I like Sudfeld...but what gives. He has to decide if wants to be an NFL player or not. He also needs to increase his strength. think back....You'll remember the play before. Same play...same result.

Geno missed it but every QB including Brees, Rodgers, and Manning miss those sometimes. That's why the average completion percentage on 20+ yard passes is around 40%.

The good news even on that pass is he didn't underthrow it, which could have lead to a pick. Young QB's often try so hard to get that ball in there they don't put enough juice on it and they we are talking about an interception with a potential long return. Much better off overthrowing then underthrowing.

I wonder how much of this has to do with Geno and Decker not having an entire offseason to get to know each other and let Geno feel out Decker's speed. Also, Jets need a deep threat receiver to let Decker make red zone and short routes that are based upon precise routes.

I hope thats a joke. Offense turned to complete shit after he left. He has been very good so far for the Jets.

What u say is true, but he still is an overrated player. Who's better...Decker or Wes Welker...lol. If WR can't stretch the field....then he's not a #1 & just because u like him...doesn't make him a great player. Can he catch the ball if it's thrown right to him....yes. Did the Jets improve there WR group much this off-season....no. Does that fall on the coach or the GM....the GM. Should Hakim or Salas be on team over Stephen Hill...NO. So please...tell me what ur watching. Remember, if u love the Jets....u can't settle for mediocrity....please don't settle....raise ur standards. Revis....great player for his position, but selfish. He's a me guy, not a team guy. If he was a team guy....He would make his 10 million & keep salary cap stable...no, he wants to rape the team. Destroys the teams cap stability.

I agree..it would be nice to see him with weapons at wideout.

you still had plenty of clock there was no need to go balls deep on first down on our 3rd tight end on depth chart.

Im not settling for mediocrity. Im confused if you think hes a bad player? I dont need to pigeon hole players into No 1 wideout and No 2 wideout. All I know is that he is a good football player.

Decker is a decent WR with good hands. His ability would stand out more if he had a more explosive WR that other team had to watch. Kerley would be un-stoppable if Jets had a beast at WR. I feel Jets only alternative at this time is Jalen Saunders. He needs some snaps at WR...& let him try to stretch the field.

He does have a problem with accuracy it can be inconsistent, not on the level of Sanchez but it's evident. The ability to place the ball in a spot the receiver can get it - I don't see it in Geno's game going back to college. Hopefully it improves. He's gotten better.

You HAVE to make that throw, he did it with Salas in the Oakland game and Sudfeld in the Packers game.
