Because all that's keeping this team from the Super Bowl is better execution on Hail Mary plays? Yeesh. I don't want to see Geno "0.04" Smith on the field as a QB in any meaningful situation. Want him to come in for the end-of-half/end-of-game hoick into the end zone from 50 yards out? Be my guest. Of course, since we've been - you know - winning with Fitz, those Hail Marys haven't been our problem anymore.
Jets coaches want to avoid making a mistake in two minute clock management, so they invite the opposition to take the lead and therefore shift the onus of proper clock management onto them?
This is a great thread. Great work today everybody. We will move forward and hope the worst thread of the week doesn't touch this one.
The only package I ever want to see Geno in is the one where he's holding a clipboard on the sidelines, wondering where the hell his career went.
OMG.....NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO We cant even package GS as part of a trade The CS is watching if he sets his watch right and makes the plane home on Sunday lol
Geno should try working on his punting skills. He has always been good at giving the ball to the other team.
He would have been here sooner if the 2nd worst GM in football history did not select him in the 2nd round. By the way, there is no shame in working for FedEx. I think the worst GM in football history was Matt Millen.
I love you Geno haters with the non-cerebral one liners........ You hate him so much, that when we start the downward spiral against the real competition in the schedule, you will be clamoring for Petty instead (who isn't ready.) Your criticisms of Geno doesn't even make sense at time. The exaggerated critique of Geno is what bugs me the most. He missed meetings (1 meeting), he lost the locker room (based on comments from 2 players, there are 58 in the locker.) etc. I'm still convinced Geno will start again this season and I can't wait to hear from some of you malcontents.
