This is hard to believe. All players know you don't hit a Qb on the field or off. You can't blame this one on Rex. He's gone and this undisciplined attitude and stupidity of players that we saw all the time esp during games is still here with this group of players. I'm glad they released him. Bowles has to start getting very tough with this group.
I wonder why Smith wasn't released too if it was a fight and not a sucker punch..I'm sure Bowles will be asked. haha..oh..I just saw a blurb that said it was indeed a sucker punch.
I'm sorry, I can't use the "Circus" label here. If I'm to understand correctly, this was a chicken shit blind side punch to Geno Smith. You can mark it down that Ike has played his last down in the NFL. NO team wants a guy on his squad that would walk up to his STARTING QB and blast him out of the blue...yeah...could you see this being a guy like Tom Brady or Peyton Manning....? Ike wouldn't have made it out of the building alive. Feel bad for Geno Smith...from the sounds of it it looked like he was somewhat "getting it."
But why? You don't just sucker punch someone for no reason--not that sucker punching someone is right--but there had to be something there. I can't imagine someone sucker punching Peyton or Brees or Rogers or Luck. Some of these other guys for sure. And Brady too. _

What a degenerate. Coaches better figure out this locker room situation quickly. Absolutely intolerable to have this type of Shit happening. I'd like to believe this is one jerk but this team doesn'texactly have a shining record in the circus department.
