It is a more accurate deep ball but Geno does not and will not have Kaep's scrambling game or ability to burst with runs.
His throwing motion reminded me of this: Seriously, it's not pretty. I just hope Geno gets similar results.
I think this is a very difficult question to answer even remotely accurately. Geno from game 1 to now looks very different. The Kid is evolving very quickly. If you put a gun to my head... Randle Cunningham. Although Geno has scramble ability he's not yet in Randle's class.
I totally see Byron Leftwich in Geno. Obviously Geno is clearly the more mobile player but 1- when they take the snap from under center, they take a similar deep drop 2- when they step up, eerie similar 3- throwing motion, Geno's motion maybe a tadbit quicker but it's a similar windup motion 4- from shotgun, they both seemingly lean back a bit when throwing from that point.
After 7 games of detailed analysis, it's clear that he's the combined genetic mutation of Curtis Painter and Shawn King. *but Byron Leftwich with wheels is also a possibility
I left my VIC-20 running overnight and I'm happy to report that Geno is 57.3% Warren Moon, 22.4% Brooks Bollinger, 12.7% Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and 7.6% Ron Jeremy
Sorry to see SUCKCHEZ lose the job to injury. While I love what I see from GENO, the Sucky fan boys and hero worshipers STILL think Mark would have been the starter if he was not hurt. That divides the team when we need unity. Geno is a far better talent then Sucky. He deserves to start and Sucky can go to Canada next year along with his fan boys and hero worshipers. The Jets are now Geno's team!
One way in which he reminds me of Randall Cunningham is the fact that he can run but he doesn't like to and prefers to throw. And the jets have to remind him to use his legs as a weapon... Randall was the same way. Geno is also really skinny and raw like Cunningham was early in his career.
He is mad cuz Geno is performing decently enough for us not to draft a QB in the first 3 rounds of 2014, while he is so exited about all these running QBs.
A skinnier James Harris (the original "Shack") though Harris had a slightly more over-the-top motion.
