I've always thought that the MM hire had two purposes. One, a new OC for the team taking the pressure off Rex. Two, an assistant with HC experience that could be a "Plan B" option in case they decide to let Rex go at the end of the season.
Is this any surprise? Wow what a freakin genius Cimini is!! But Rex didn't have much choice in this matter. I harped on this all preseason...that Rex will have to put his job on the line if he is to play Geno.....IF Sanchez was the other choice. But with Sanchez out, what choice did Rex have?
