The point of "Brady is one of the all-time best QBs in the NFL" is not the topic in the discussion, any more than "Liberace was a great entertainer and pianist". Although "Brady is a a hall of fame penis" is a bit closer the subject. And what difference does it make that he's a "future HOF QB"? Does it mean everybody is supposed to like him? There are plenty of 'real HOF QB's' that are real pricks too. I'll start with Terry Bradshaw. His announcement of brain damage this morning caught no one by surprise. There's a whole topic 'stickied' above about the wonders Brady. It's 'stickied' because the of the quantity of posters jerking off over Brady.
Same response, basically... I don't HAVE to like Brady as a person to be happy about the results the Patriots have gotten while he's been their quarterback. And I don't care if other people like or dislike him. Completely irrelevant to me. I'm sure that in real life, a ton of NFL players (and other professional athletes) are a-holes. Do you think Braylon Edwards is an upstanding human being? Does that matter to you as long as he plays well for the Jets? (Assuming his jackassery isn't causing harm to anyone else?) Sanchez has the same Metro tendencies. Do you hate him too?
