Just another reason to pursue renewable / alternative energy..... not having to deal with the middle east shitshow is a bonus https://markets.businessinsider.com...sia-aramco-of-saudi-price-hikes-russia-2022-4 not a coincidence this happens the day after US releases reserves to calm prices on open market
Cali has been the leader in that and it ain’t working out too well. Brown out city! Nuclear will be the answer, slow and measured , and AOC won’t be leading the way.
I know one thing after living in Los Angeles for decades... the infrastructure here can in no way support the increased electrical load on the power grid without many many billions spent on getting it up to speed for a "green" future. Just a few months ago a little old lady in her Lexus took out a power pole and blacked out ten thousand homes for 5 days. When it rains there are power outages. When it's windy there are power outages. When it's warm there are power outages. It's a system that's held together with spit and paper clips and there's no effort to improve it. They can barely keep it alive... all while charging some of the highest prices in the nation.
These people are incompetent disasters and the emotional crowd out there will re-elect them to double down on more disaster. And imagine this is their national plan
And the wildfire caused by PG&E that destroyed everything in its wake. That was horrific. You'll love this thread. It's a hoot. Not. https://forums.theganggreen.com/threads/wildfires-in-ca.90824/page-3 https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-new...uit-faulty-utility-transmission-tower-n944811
