Meh. If that's what Lawrence Taylor has descended to at this point, I more kind of feel sorry for him than anything else.
I think someone needs to put Mehta in the concussion protocol, he has taken too many ball sacks to the head. To even put out there that OBJ is going to set the single game receiving record against Revis, when he couldn't come close to half that against anyone he has faced this year, is just stupidity looking for attention. Revis may have lost a step but he is still much better than a good majority of the CBs playing today.
The Giants are the establishment. Their fans know this, we know this. If a Giants fan has a favourite Ramone, it's Johnny. Us? We pick Joey or Dee Dee.
I've thought Gary Myers was a totally incompetent, clueless hack since I stopped reading him around 1987 or 1988. I was stunned to see him get a job on the NFL Network. He must have have incriminating evidence on someone there to get and keep his job.
Sadly, you make a valid point. To really localize it, the Giants have a better record against the NEP's than we do too. But there's something different about this version of the Jets. If you notice, without Rex the Barker, the local media has to do its best to whip up some kind of excitement about this game without the usual bullshit spewing from Rex. This is what you're reading now. Nothing from the players and TB has already said this isn't a rivalry. Same as when we played the NEP's. The media is really, REALLY missing the old Carnival Barker and now has to go out of its way to generate buzz. I'm surprised they haven't traveled to Buffalo to get Rex's take on the Jet/Giant game.
Anybody who thinks the Jets overall history is better then the Giants. There only fooling themselves.
They and their fans have been comical as of late. Friends of mine who are Giants fans act like they are on a worse Super Bowl drought than us. I tell them they can't complain when they've won 2 Super Bowls in recent memory...Give me one of their Super Bowls and I am happy camper for at least 10 years with the Jets.
While Mehta's obviously over the top the one fact we can't overlook is OBJ doesn't face single coverage EVER. And he probably will if Revis plays. But Manish is about as irrelevant as LT. Is someone going to trot out Joe Namath to say something negative about the Giants in response?
Oh stop it!!! Maybe for you, but for average Jets fan on this board SB gets FO 4, MAYBE 5, games before another "Fire everybody, lost locker room, who do you blame" thread.
Nobody said that. Obviously. But since you have been a troll from your first post, I don't think that matters.
Dude your the main troll on here. All you want to do is draw attention to yourself. It makes you feel like a big man when you put people down. I'll bet your family life is sad.
It was actually nice of LT to take time in between drug deals and raping little girls to talk to us. He's a good man, and exemplifies the spirit of the NY Giants.
