Yeah, it's been the worst part of the season so far but could become the best. Hopefully it's not some BS where she kills the chick and that was her final test; she just didn't know it.

Yeah, that would be cheesy as fuck. She clearly isn't 'no-one' -- she went and took the sword that she hid back. So she is Arya Stark.

You know that's what it is, though, right?

Or at least, the waif is failing her own test by wanting personal vengeance.

I normally am not. I understand most times when a production company deviates from the written word, and if it's done well, I enjoy the theatrical product for what it is.

I also am someone that doesn't have high hopes for literary words put to screen. I was pleasantly surprised when the early seasons of GoT came out. I thought they were adapted well even though they removed some seriously crucial plotlines and characters.

But the more this show has gone on, the more they have deviated and the less entertaining the show has become for someone that likes an intricate plot and interesting characters.

Fucking ratings, come on. Most shows that get cancelled carry a faithful fan following a number of years after it's first strong seasons and are able to shit along until people stop watching. The difference here is that the perceived story has an end in sight and those same dopes have committed to watching it to the end. If this was a series instead of a miniseries, the ratings would already have dropped off significantly.

GRRM has been in TV for almost half a century, and he figured out the perfect way to create a ratings hog. Kudos to him, he's becoming a very rich man, but not everyone has to admire the product.

Edit: and I was being disingenuous when I said I was skimming the series. I've watched much worse shows out of morbid fascination. But this show, I re-watched in the past the same way I had re-read the books. Now I just re-skim, to see the funniest parts of it. Although that one scene a couple of seasons ago with Arya at the Eyrie, laughing like a fucking goon, I re-watched that dogshit like 20 times.

Question: was it the brotherhood without banners that killed those people building the church?

I know I'm in the minority on this.... I think they did a shit job of casting Arya. This girl last 30 seconds in real westeros. She is one of the weakest. I have a tough time with that whole storyline.

Maybe it's just bc she is busted on top of being weak.

So someone on Reddit decipheres the letter Sansa wrote. If you want to know, continue reading. If not, stop here ---- It's about baelish saying how he promised to protect Sansa no matter what and how she is asking for the Knights of the Eerie to help Jon and her take back the north. She then promises him a reward but the letter ends there. I'm on my phone and can't find the link but I'm sure if you go to Reddit you can find it.

She needs the Knights of the Vale. It's the only way they can take winter fell. That storyline is coming together nicely. Wish stanis was still around though

This season at first was great but the last couple of episodes have been meh! I feel really cheated when they don’t show people death or fight scenes. The whole many face god story line was null and void. After all the Arya getting her ass kicked by the Waif, at the end I got no satisfaction. They really should have shown us the fight. I’m so annoyed right now. Ugh lol

I liked that they actually just focused on 3 storylines this time around. The last few eps were way too haphazard with hardly anything happening in all the storylines at once.

The hound gave us some much needed blood spilling and the mountain ripped that dudes head off, that was sick. So I thought it was kind of gangster how she just cut the candle and then the next scene the waifs face was on the wall.

Yeah, that was one of the few parts I liked about the episode.

JV28 is right though, her being cast as Arya was terrible, she looks like a fucking frog. Arya is supposed to resemble her hot aunt who got hamboned by Rhaegar.

Loved the Hound and the Mountain.

    Made the episode.

And I don't think the Mountain ripped his whole head off, I think he grabbed him under the jaw and ripped the front of his skull off.
