Dany’s character was developed as one to root for back when she was in Essos Since she has been in Westeros their has definitely been a turn to not like her. When her, Snow and Starks were on different storylines it was possible to root them all on, but has they have merged she is becoming less.
The crazy part is, if she would just listen to John Snow more and let him take the throne, they could rule together and she would be much better off in every way. She's so consumed with her hatred, she makes dumb ass decisions and gets people killed, and likely might get herself killed. Although, it's hard to not understand why she is the way she is. She was sold to a Dothraki king as a whore. She was raped and abused constantly until she basically was forced to fall for him. Her brother was a sick asshole who was killed by her husband. Her husband then was murdered by a witch. Her unborn baby was cursed and murdered by a witch. There's a lot she's been through. Still doesn't excuse her stupidity though. I was rewatching the first season the other day and it's crazy how innocent and different she was before all the shit she went through. Her character from season 1 to now is like night and day
Episode was great i loved it...Although I would have liked to see The Battle for Winterfell last 2 episodes to make the walkers feel like more of a threat and more of a victory. The Night King died to fast to me.
I rewatched it and at the end, there is a shot of Sansa Varys , Tyrion, Gilly and little Sam so they definitely survived
100% correct. Don't know why I have children of nature stuck in my head. Kind of like a wrong song lyric that you just can't shake..
I'm pretty convinced they only gave it to her so she could walk out of the burning building naked lol i'm not complaining about that though
sam should not have been on the front lines. he would have been best in the crypt as a protector for the few that got through. he was useless in battle and got ed killed. every time they cut to him he was crying and close to death and had to be saved lol
Undoubtedly. The one thing that really irked me was that few major characters were killed. That's just totally contrary to the way the whole series has worked. Jaimie fighting with his wrong hand survived? Sam did? But thousands of trained unsullied didn't. Give me a break. They seemed down to a handful of defenders with half an hour of the episode left but then they all seemed to survive. It was almost like watching a superhero movie the way all the major characters survived against impossible odds. Oh and the whole crypt thing. Seriously, did they really think putting women and children down in a crypt when they are being attacked by someone who could raise the dead as wights was a good idea? You could see that coming a mile off.
there is 3 episodes left. lots of the characters were going to be needed for the final battle for the iron throne. i'm not suprised. the hound still needs his revenge against the mountain. arya couldn't die as she was the one slated to kill NK. sansa and tyrion were in hiding. not really many people to kill off yet. i expect many of them die in the final 3 episodes though LMAO
FYI Beric Dondarrion is not the Lord of Light. The Lord of Light is supposed to be a god or deity, the one who is credited for bringing back Beric and Jon Snow. That episode was simply amazing. Series finale caliber amazing. I hope the rest of it can live up to this because it was absolutely epic. I was hoping the final battle would be Night King, not Cersei, however. I feel like the writers kind of dropped the ball with how Daenerys and the dragons were used, none of it made sense. I predict this series will end with Jon Snow slitting Daenerys' throat.
Surprised Gendry survived because of his tryst with Arya I was sure he was a goner. I fully expected Brienne to bite the dust as I though her character reached its pinnacle with the knighting in episode 2. Lyanna Mormont actually surprised me. I agree with many about some of the mains surviving while the Dothraki who when you think about it probably should have been the most effective against the Wights were sent off and completely slaughtered.
Oh I wouldn't have wanted to kill loads more off at this point. Just one more, more surprising, death would have been OK, particularly if more of the 'common' troops had survived than appeared to be the case. I mean Jorah was always going to die protecting Danaerys at some point and the Lord of Light kept bringing Berric back for a reason, which was always going to be something to do with defeating the Night King. So no-one should really have been surprised by those deaths. Theon died away from the main battle and his time was up having come full circle. Who else died in battle - Edd and the Mormont girl (which were good ones to be fair but pretty minor characters) - and Melisandre afterwards because her purpose was fulfilled. Unless there's something they haven't shown in the crypt I think the rest all survived. Considering the wholesale slaughter of the faceless ranks that seemed to occur it was pretty unrealistic.
Yeah I later corrected myself. I meant to write the lord of light "guy" because I couldn't remember his name at the time.
ehhhh the MILF v. the Jailbait.. if were gonna have a naked cat fight, the Dragon girl better be involved
