Happy to have the Mets loss out of the way already, so it'll just be flipping between the Jets, Olympics, and A-Rod. Seriously though, I've finally become disciplined enough to avoid attending preseason games in person even if they're free, but I have not yet totally divorced myself from watching on TV. I'm getting there though. Another couple of years and I'll be off watching these waste of time and effort games forever. All I am rooting for or want to see is HEALTH.
In theory, the Jets should go 4-0 in the preseason. Fitz is a solid #1, Geno is a great #2, and Bryce/Hack should be as good if not better than the 3's they are going against. Of course W's and L's mean absolutely 0 in the preseason. Just hope the players continue to improve, grow, and not get injured. But yes, I am excited for tonight. Any Dogs in the house?!??!

The way camp has been progressing, I can't wait for the game tonight. The Jets NEED some competition before they end up beating up all their own players in practice.
I'm so hyped that it's finally here! I understand why many fans would say "Bleh, it's preseason", but most of us here enjoy it a lot because of how closely we follow this team. For me, I most enjoy watching the 2's and 3's, watching players on the cusp of making the 53-man roster. I like to see training camp heroes in live game action to see if they step up, and if they can make the team. Preseason is most enjoyed when you keep the future seasons in mind, because those 2's and 3's are working to become the 1's in the future. The only knock I have about it is, and understandably so, how vanilla it is. This is what makes the games relatively boring especially towards the end of each game. This part of preseason can't be changed too much because teams don't want to give anything away for when the games actually count, but damn it would be cool if it was just a little less vanilla and seeing what some of these guys who don't get the spotlight can do. That being said, with tonight's game approaching, I'll be watching closely our CB depth, new LBs, and cusp WRs the most. It is also interesting and most important to see what the QBs after Fitz do.

Got an invite to head offshore...... so fuck work I've been fishing all day. Fishing was slow, so beer kill count was high..... been up since 5 and in the sun all day. JAGS are local TV broadcast.... fish tacos pregame, and I wont feel bad when I pass out before the 4th qtr when future UPS workers take the field. Go Jets
