I would eat that Love chickpeas and lentil soup but I dare say it would be a bad day the next day from the rear
I'm almost on the Warwickshire Border (A5). I have to make do with Jamesons or a single malt (Bowmores) for my sins
We’ve all just had a Sunday roast. A traditional UK staple but wouldn’t be my first choice to be honest. Still, I didn’t have to cook it so I shouldn’t be ungrateful. At this stage of this season the priority is beer rather than food. I may have started slightly early on that front.
Looked up Sunday roast. Looks delicious. Beer is what makes football great but if I am working next day, I can't drink beer. It makes me extremely slow on Monday's. Sopped drinking beer on Sundays 2 years ago and it saved my career. Lol.
Nothing special today. Not really in the mood to be in the kitchen only to watch another Jets blowout loss afterwards today. I went to Western Beef and bought 1/2 lb ham & 1/2 lbs of smoked gouda and american cheese and wise chips white cheese popcorn and cheese puffs.
So many choices for a Sunday Roast Beef, chicken, Lamb, my friend but not yours, Ham, Gammon, Pork lol For myself I am not keen on Lamb roast tbh
Chicken casserole cooking away and more than one pint of home brewed beer (a copy of Hop Back brewery's Summery Lightning) to cheer me up through this.
My man, send me the recipe for the Nohutlu Pilav above, I can't find one online they all look way different to that one, most of them not in tomato sauce? I am intending to make it tomorrow so rather than guesswork an authentic Turk can pass me the family secrets lol
