the trades are very resonable and what people are looking for. nothing madden-esqu. not like i'm saying trade 5 1sts for mahomes. everything in this is possible. we could also just trade the 2 to houson where they could trade with detriot for the extra picks. I can see what your saying about schreff but he hasn't had major injuries. he missed 3 games this year and was still all pro. he's better then thuney but i'd be ok with thuney. pats lineman tend to fall off after leaving. their system and bradys quick release and decision making made them all seem better then they were. schreff is more proven to be a great signing. he's been in the league 6 years and has made 4 pro bowls and 1 all pro which was last year.1 time he didn't make the pro bowl was his rookie year and the other was when he missed half the season. still he's only missed 18 games or slightly over 1 season out of 6. i wouldn't call that injury prone. herndon has missed that many games already in 3 years. shit happens sometimes as far as using the pick on a CB it makes sense. why take an OG when we are signing a pro bowler? we have to make concessions somewhere. elfien and clark competing for the OG spot makes sense. t's for 1 season and they should be fine. elfien wasn't awful for us and maybe clark is ready to start. if not we can get an OG next year. Why would I take a WR when there is so much depth in this class? i have st brown in the 2nd and he's not even a drop off of what we would get at 23 for a WR. same with freiermouth. he'll be overdrafted i like long better in the 4th. I think he'll be a better pro then freiermouth and I don't see any difference in TEs 2-5ish in this draft. unless pitts somehow falls to 23 i wouldn't waste anyhting higher then a 4th on a TE. Edge is an option as well but I have us getting thomas. I also believe in foley, Q, and JFM. they should excel in this system.our d-line is much better then our CB situation and plus at 23 I don't see who we would take there as an edge. You are also very underrating st brown and ignoring how well he fits out offense. he's a slot guy except he's not. he can play outside and be moved around everywhere. he's just an overall really good and solid WR. as far as safety go, wiggins can play FS or SS. he's versatile. so is maye and davis. on top of that in salehs system safeties are interchangeable. I don't think your accounting for our new system at all. it's not GWs defense anymore. safeties in salehs system both basically play as FS. it's very zone heavy and not much blitzing. bend but don't break. get pressure with the front 4 and make the QB find a man open with 7 in coverage another wild card as well is daron lee is wanting to come back and play for saleh. he could make a great back-up MLB for us. he was miscast in the 3-4 but should fare better in salehs zone heavy D with his speed. You are too focused on position. that's not how to build a team there is a balance of taking the BPA but one of need.
i agree, lots of possibilities and finally happy with the thought process and direction the team seems to be headed. i feel like we have solid leadership with jd and saleh.
