DRob neds to get better in a hurry. We can not put up with several years of spotty play.

Do you know John Abraham has been injured every year since going to Atlanta and he has missed a lot of games. He seems to have a chronic groin injury that re-injures itself every year.

My point is a player of Abraham's caliber and cost only does your team good if he is not on the pine. With the number of games Abraham continues to miss, his price tag is easily a factor of 3 too high.

I guess the grading is fair and it clearly depicts why we were so bad against the run and were super low in sacks. Realistically, this laundry list could take at least 2 years to get it credible, and maybe not perfect.

Elam didn't play bad at all at FS. Rhodes' breakout this year came right around the time we signed and started playing Elam.

Once again, I think you underrate the Jets though. It is a bad D now, but with impact players already there (Rhodes, Harris, Revis) plus players like Thomas who would play better with someone good across from them...it's not that far off.

Depending on FA and draft moves, our D could have a decent season next year. By 2009 I expect this D will just be hitting it's stride....
