Lane thinks he's going to be a premier back. I watched him play a bunch this year, and he's always bitching up a storm on the sidelines. He's got talent, but I don't think he'll make it in the pros. Another pet peeve of mine (I coach high school football, and I hate when my players do it) is the fact that he can never tuck in his damn jersey, it's always hanging down to his kneecaps.

Anyhow, I really like Schmitt though. It'd be nice to find a Chris Cooley/Richie Anderson type H-Back to really give this offense another dimension.

    I will tell you what.

Jacob Hester has really impressed me tonight. He would be a Great late round pick up for us, as I don't believe that he will be high on many boards. He would give us some depth at HB, and give us a bruiser in short yardage.

Does Hester remind anyone of Rick Fenney, or is it just me?

I didn't think he would be big enough for a fullback in the NFL, but this kid has heart. He seems to have the measurables you can't measure.

More like 6'0, and hell yeah. Not all FB's have to be 6'2'' 245. and he wouldnt be a true FB in our system. He would run, catch, block and play special teams.
