I've never seen anyone draw so many "diagrams" and use lines and shit to explain the simplest things during a football game. about the broadcast sucking... it was terrible. no LOS markers, no first down marker, no play clock. wtf NBC?!!? its like preseason means the same for nbc game production too.
it was like a demo version of the sunday night broadcast. same channel, same graphics, but the rest was pure crap.
Don't forget the tweets they showed during the game. I can't imagine how bad most of them must have been if those represented the best. I have Fios, and neither NFL Network or NBC was blacked out for me. It was on both channels. I'm not sure if that was an error, but games being on two channels happens a lot for me. I also picked the NFL Network feed because NBC didn't show it on the guide.

I know, those Giants fans tweets were the fucking worse. all positive even thought the Gmen sucked ass. Sad, very sad.
I saw one when they were on their own 20 after completing a short pass or something and some moron said something to the effect of, "Its nice to see the Giants finally moving the ball well now."
I thought I was the only person that noticed this. My friends thought I was crazy. They missed damn near a whole Jets series. They went to commercial when the Giants punted and when they came back it was like 4th down.
SNY rebroadcasts Jet telecasts, technically this was a Giants telecast so it wasn't re-aired. I believe it was the same case with the ESPN telecast of the Houston game. Thursday night is a Jet telecast so SNY will probably rerun it at 11 unless the Mets are on. DirecTV wasn't at fault for the blackout on NFLN but they did fuck up their guide. They fixed it by Monday to show it in NFLN 212 but not channel 4. I was home and recorded it, but even now on my List it says I recorded a show called Extra for three hours.
