I think we should start drafting some Hasidic offensive linemen.

Are you Jewish? How can you know what upsets them without being one of them?

The author presented evidence that this man is likely at least sympathetic to militant Islamic values. Yes, ultimately it is an opinion piece and doesn't prove a thing. His main point however was not to prove extremism. The points of the article were:

    1. Aboushi is likely a terrorist sympathizer because of A, B, C and D.
    2. A significant number of Jets have are of Jewish religion.
    3. The team knows about it as evidence of 2009 request to change the time of the game.
    4. Jets might not have known about Aboushi's personal views before the draft.
    5. Now however Jets do and the question is what the team is planning to do.

What exactly in this is poor journalism?

Militant Islamists do not acknowledge the state of Israel and Hamas' sworn goal is to drown Jews in the sea. This is exactly the same as KKK's goal.

Yes, I do! Not everything, but enough to know if they deserve my support.

Ha, not exactly. He's connecting dots that he's not even presenting to you. Sorry, but for your reader to connect the dots, at least show everything you're alluding to. He fails to do that and instead relies upon impressionable minds like your own to rally around his opinion instead of forming your own because he doesn't really have any evidence to present.

The poor journalism is that the author is making way too many and way too big of leaps in this article. He's reasoning things that don't stand to reason based on the facts that he's presented. Really, he didn't present very much factual evidence that supports it. Now, if you want to make that leap like the author did, by all means, go ahead; but I do think these are ignorant conclusions that you have arrived at. You're not necessarily wrong, but you could be at best, right for the wrong reasons.

And also, I don't have to be Jewish to know what offends Jewish people, nor do I have to be black or Hispanic or Asian or Muslim to know what offends them either. Why would I have to be?

Evidence? As in, opinion disguising as a fact? Even that fails in the article above. Epic fail all around, my friend.

    This is the tweet....

The caption reads, “88 year-old Palestinian evicted from home in Jerusalem by Israel authorities to make room 4 Orthodox Jews.” It was tagged #colonialism and he retweeted it.

By the way here is one of the "contributors"

Beila Rabinowitz, director of Militant Islam Monitor, contributed to this report.

Front Page lists this in it's heading...

"Inside every liberal is a totalitarian screaming to get out"

It's 100% Islamaphobia. They may have just as well had Michael Savage write the article. It's disgusting is what it is.

One of the many racist articles by Belia Rabinowitz

"Radical Islamist Views Catching Up With Obama "

The Problem With Somali Immigrants: Asylum Fraud, Juvenile Crime, Honor Crimes, Illegal Money Transfers and Islamism

All you need to know about the people that read that website is the comments left by readers

"He got his hatred the moment he was born. His "Palestinian" parents, his mosque and his religion are responsible for his backwardness, hatred and antisemitism. It was wrong to let his parents ( all parents from West Bank, Gaza, Egypt, Lebanon, Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Pakistan, Iraq, Yemen, Afghanistan,............) come to America. Islam is not compatible with Western civilization and gives its followers nothing but hatred, backwardness and savagery. Amazingly ex-Muslims are peaceful and they warn for the danger Islam poses for the West. " - David M

"Why is anyone shocked? He reveres a sociopath named Muhammad who PERSONALLY decapitated 900 UNARMED Jews of the Banu Quarayza tribe in 627...If you revere a sociopath you will promote sociopathic ideas....Obviously the JETS are comfortable with his sociopathic mindset.. " - Richard Sherman

"Those savages should be glad that Israel is there to provide civilization for them, and they should also be glad that the Israelis show so much patience. I would have blown up all the Palestinian terrorists (Is there anything else these people do?) to Allah." - IMHomo

"There aren't enough qualified athletes to choose from that they had to bottom feed for this !@#$%? " @PWallser

"The land of Israel is Jewish land, not hairy, ugly, savage Muslim land!" - Ian

"First they ABUSE a QUALITY human being,Tim Tebow, then thy BLACKBALL him from the NFL,but this Jew-Hating POS they welcome.
FK Rex Ryan and hopefully the Jets Jewish Fans will CONVERT to Giants fans ,after this.
The ONLY thing to cheer about Abhoushi is that he gets HIT,HARD,on every play.
And his teammates better REALIZE that HE HATES THEM ALL,despite Locker room TAQYIA.&
the above applies to practice also. " - Choi

They also attack anybody who tried to talk common sense. I'd say it's quite an uncredible source for anything unless you want to see the ugly side of Americans.

You make a great succinct argument right here. This article, in fewer words, is bullshit and I think this thread should be in the bs forum, quite honestly.

    PS, I'm Jewish.

This article is nothing but biased garbage, and the insinuation on the last paragraph is pathetic, a discriminatory attempt to imply that his convictions are not to be considered equal to the convictions of the Jewish fan base.

I hope the Jets have enough balls to keep this guy because of his talent, and not succumb to religious or political pressure from those that consider themselves righteous beyond reproach and above the rest.

Why didn't you mention one of them first? Because it was convenient and you didn't have to think too much?

    Or are you just back-pedalling?

And why are you talking about mass-murderers, anyway? What does this have to do with a football player re-tweeting a picture?

You're starting to look a bit manic.

To me that article is close to being slanderous. And this thread should be shit canned where it belongs. The ignorant hatred on both sides of the issue is repugnant. Why are some people so eager to defame and label other people? It makes me sad to be human sometimes.

You bashed Mangold for taking two days away from training camp to see his little sister compete in the Olympics.

Nothing you say will ever matter again.
