I remember when the players starting doing this when the Jets had a terrible year under Rex. It didn't really help. Also apparently the media misread the context because they have been doing this all year anyway.

You are right on. I can almost guarantee that if we dismiss Todd and Kacey now, no matter who the interim coach we pick is, even if we split it with Bates running the offense and anybody running the defense, it will not get any worse and most likely get better.
I feel like this is an attempt to lead by the young guys. Lead by example on the field, leave the RAH RAH stuff in college.
