Thanks. If he's above average, then he's better at Brick, and with upside, being younger and being cheaper, I say let's do it. Thank Brick for his years of service, give him a gold jock or something, cut him, and sign Beachum.
@TurnOnTheJets just posted an article about 5 free agents the Jets should sign 1. RG3 2.Andre Smith 3.Kelvin Beachum 4.Zach Miller 5.Nick Fairley These are contingent on releasing Brick and Breno but I highly agree with all these moves. I have been saying for days now our Oline would get an ultimate jumpstart if we replaced Brick and Breno with Andre and Kelvin. But do to what it would take, it's not likely. well beachum is visiting the jags today so you know how that goes. lol. They can basically ask him what he wants and they'll pay it without a second thought. They got bankkk!! Wish we could've gotten him that would have been a franchise saving move. Now we're still stuck with uncertainty and a possibilty that Brick and Breno stays..
No thanks with Andre Smith. His weight & consistent effort has always been questioned since he was drafted.
lol that's not true.. you know NT's don't get numbers.. He's a big body that will clog the middle as snacks did. if we get him. He's not a bum. Not great but not bad.

@AdamSchefter Former Steelers' OT Kelvin Beachum reached agreement with Jacksonville, per league sourc
Fuck man Beachum didn't sign with jets , Andre smith is still on the market so hopefully we get an upgrade PLZ
What are the Jets going to pay any free agent in coupons. I was afraid this was going to happen when they tagged Muhammad Wilkerson. If the Jets aren't going to sign him long term , what is the end game. Keeping him this year, and watching him leave in Fa next year. This is shaping up to be a long year for the Jets.
RG3 is a guaranteed bust no matter where he signs. He will get injured and not finish out the season, I guarantee it - willing to lay odds.
Now that K. Beachum reached agreement with Jacksonville, the only OT I would really like to see here, is Falcons' RT Ryan Schraeder. Relatively young (27 going on 28), still has something to prove (was an UDFA in 2013), impressive physique (6'7" with about 310 lb) and he's one of the best RT in the league (selected to PFF's All-Pro team in 2015). Another OL I'm really rooting for (since a very long time) is Stefen Wisniewski. He signed an 1-year prove-it deal with Jacksonville last year and played very well. Before that he was Oakland's best OL for a few years. He could slide in at a position of need (RG) and would also be an insurance for N. Mangold (can play C and OG). From my point of view one of the most underrated players in the league.
@PatMcManamon Browns have informed LB Karlos Dansby that he will be released following the signing of Demario Davis. #Browns I know he's older but he could be a good fit. Played under Bowles.
