    Ridiculous thread

#1 Sanchez is only 3 years into the league #2 only played 14 games in college. #3 OL sucks. #4 Jets are one of the worst running teams in football this year. #5 OC doesn't know how to call plays for Sanchez's skill set. #6 and this is a big one, our receivers don't get separation on their routes. Probably a combination of shit calls, bad routes and lack of speed.

I hate when people make knee jerk reactions. The guy has 11 come back wins and lets face it. The Jets just don't have as much talent as their coach thinks they do.

If we correct the issues above and he still doesn't progress, then OK make a change.

"Haha, anyone who's giving up on Sanchez after 3 years is literally retarded and knows nothing about football."

I'm not giving up on him. As I have previously stated, I think he can have a very long and illustrious career in some god forsaken place like Cleveland as a holder for the FG Kicker. I'd even have him run a fake kick once in a while.

"he has stepped up with what he has."

If you call consistently making rookie mistakes stepping up than I cannot argue with you. Regardless of the OL, I do not think he has the leadership qualities or skills to be a top NFL QB. His indecision, slow and low releases is not what you would expect from a 3rd year QB with two full seasons under his belt.

The Jets should run more roll out plays to get him out of the pocket, however, he does not have the arm to throw accurately on the run, so you're kind of limited with him. Or should I say stuck with him?

Cutler/Manning are hurt because they aren't as tough as Sanchez. Cutler certainly isn't. Sanchez would never sit out a Championship game.

Vick is a once in a generation athlete.

Big Ben is humongous and mobile

Brady, Rodgers, Manning are the top 3 quarterbacks of this generation.

And none of these guys have inept fuckers calling plays. And it's questionable at what point in any of their careers they have ever had a useless chode playing anywhere on their lines.

    Reading comprehension.
He's saying they make countless errors that cost their teams games.

Also, Josh Freeman, Romo, Flacco has streaks where he blows worse than your arguments.

No, I responded to the question of other QBs who made dumb decisions this year.

Wow, Sanchez isn't accurate on the run? You've clearly never watched a Jets game. He's the 8th best passer on the run this year, with a 96 passer rating.

im not willing to write off Sanchez until he performs under a new OC Shottys been known to hold back QBs . I give Sanchez one more year. But clearly Shotty or Sanchez have to go...I rather not play the new QB every two years game no succesfull franchise changes there QB every couple years.Get him some help in the form of better wide recivers who actually get open.Buress never gets open down or in the middle of the filed.Kerleys a work in progress. Holmes is only good when theres another good num 2 reciver like Braylon.Lets not forget the O line . we need to get rid of everyone except Mangold and Brickshaw.Sanchez doesnt have enough help he really doesnt...Our offense has to be the target in free agency..Bring in some speed like D'Sean Jackson,Edwards,Holmes,or something like that.Buress is only good in the redzone thats great and all but he isnt helping us get down the field.

We need to sign one of these guys so we can give Sanchez the green light to rush the ball himself A LOT more. Did you see how much time he had in the pocket today? He can easily average 50 rush yards a game

No one with a lick of sense would copy and paste a list like that into a current discussion about the Jets.

Wow what a shithole this place turned into after that loss. Sanchez is our QB. He is not going anywhere.

Wouldn't mind looking for a veteran backup however. We need someone who can come in and win games if Sanchez goes down behind our offensive line (emphasis on offensive)

Sanchez is our QB. He is what he is. He is an average QB that is decent when you play to his strengths. He can't throw the ball more than 30 times, and he needs a good running game and O-Line to be successful.

Do you really think Brees would willingly reunite himself w/Schotty?

I appreciate the contribution that all people make to non-intellectual activities, but you need to read what you're replying to before you reply (unless you're as baked as me. Then I'll give you a free pass this time).

Brady, Ben, and Manning through most of their careers have had solid O-Lines. Coming from a Vandy fan, Cutler is garbage and is worse under pressure than Sanchez hands down. The point to bring home is that, given the Jets' success at non-QB positions this year, it would take a Hall of Fame-caliber Quarterback to weather this storm without intermittently looking like a Canadian Football League reject.
