The way I see it. Browns take QB first. Giants trade to Bills they get a QB. Colts take Chubb. Browns trade 4 to AZ for a QB. Broncos take QB. Jets get to pick between Minkah, Nelson and Barkley.
Way I see it Browns take a QB at 1 Mayfield and trade up to 2 for Barkley. Colts trade the 3rd pick to the Bills who take Darnold. Giants take Rosen at 4 and Denver takes the strong arm of Allen at 5. Jets pick Chubb, Nelson or Fitzpatrick at 6. That's how we end up with no QB. Names may change, draft spots maybe not.
If that happens, the Jets should take Chubb. At least they'd finally have their edge rusher. I'm not wild about any of the other QBs in the draft, but if Jackson is still there at the Jets' first pick of the 2nd round and they like him, they should take him. If not, grab the best RB they can or maybe Price if he's still there. If Price isn't there and the Jets took a RB, between the lower 2nd and their 3rd round pick, hopefully they could add a CB and Ragnow.
I don't know what a straw man is. But it's inappropriate of you to attack other posters for not knowing how to use Google on their phones, there's nothing wrong with sticking to a good old fashioned desktop.
More importantly. Denver is out on Cousins. I wouldn't put it past them to still draft a QB either, Keenum is nothing special.
If Schefter is right Cousins' price tag for Minnesota (and therefore the Jets) just went up, and Denver's pick at #5 is very much in play for teams like Buffalo.
Disappointing to see the Jets didn't shoot for Landry or Robinson, would have been nice incentive to lure Cousins here, calling it now, Cousins signs with Vikes, Jets end up signing bunch of guys who don't pan out like always draft busts, SOJ style, just can't help to remain skeptical about this whole off season agenda.
That's right. I'm still using my Apple 2 but having trouble finding floppy discs. May have to upgrade soon.
