He's right about the Jaguars and Rams accumulating a bunch of talent over a long period with high draft picks due to so many bad years. It's not a one year turn around unless you are a few key pieces away from becoming a playoff team. I think we need a lot of pieces on both sides of the ball, and continued growth from our coaches and young core. If we are lucky, we could be a playoff team next year, but it would take Mac making awesome moves in both free agency, trades, and hitting on all his draft picks on day one. GM of the Year stuff we need. That's a rose colored glasses way of looking at it.
If the Browns or any other teams sign Cousin and we didn't give it our best shot than the FO is out and gone. Especially if the team that signs him goes to the playoffs.(especially if it's the Browns) It's my belief that we will sign him. I also believe him and his agent are pitted the teams to drive up his worth. Either way sign or not I hope we make the right choice.
I never once said I think it will happen or have confidence in this current regime to make it happen. I’ve been pretty outspoken in not having confidence in either Mac or Bowles. With that said it could happen with a solid offseason, we see it every year and the fact of the matter is there is the Patriots and everyone else. The NFL is completely watered down, there isn’t much that separates the bad teams from the good teams, I don’t think that’s debatable at all. Easy to say now how talented the Rams are after a solid year. No one was calling the Rams a talented team when they were finishing 5-11 or worse every year under Jeff Fisher.
You want to talk typical, it’s NCJetsfan resorting to name calling like a bratty 8 year old that doesn’t get his way. I’m a grown ass man and won’t resort to that so I’ll just end this “conversation” right here.
Bell says 60m is not enough to play for Jets. Bell is quickly talking himself into a franchise tag. Edit: Personally, love Bell as a player, hate him as a Jet. Jets can find a great RB in this draft if they wanted to.
Yeah, lol. Official twitter: It's almost as potato as Seferian-Jenkins saying he wants 10m /year on twitter. Why even disclose that publicly? If I'm a GM, I'm turned off.
This is his only chance at a big contract. He's probably looking for $18M per year for 4+ years. He' clearly looking for as much as possible. I don't blame him.
Saquon Barkley is already better then Leveon Bell, his running style would never work behind a below average to average o line
He absolutely was serious, he is terrified of playing behind a non elite O line as he knows his rushing style won't work. He will 100 percent wind up with the steelers when all is said and done.
Lol he was responding to a Jets fan, highly doubt he was serious. I think he’ll end up back with Steelers too as they’ll probably franchise him again.
