Revis at $15 million? No thank you. If I'm Mac and I get Byron in Florham Park, like hell I'm letting him walk out that door without a deal.
Ok, here is where IMHO logic breaks down. If Maxwell is the top corner in free agency...then lets give him the big bucks, not Revis. He is younger to boot and has more upside. So lets go all in for Maxwell, knowing the biggest bidding war will be with Revis and the PATs. Frankly we should not be in the mood to dick around with either of those two assholes.
While he is the top corner in FA he is a shadow of the top corner in the NFL. Not even in the discussion. You can't pay Maxwell that much. Nice to know we were atleast in on Jackson according to this http://blog.chron.com/ultimatetexan...-kareem-jackson-to-four-year-deal/#31106101=0 It's gonna be us against the eagles for McCourty and Maxwell
I was trying to quote Sanchize and managed to screw up the quoting part of it. I didn't want him back before he got hit with the PED suspension, and certainly not now. We need a true FS that can actually cover TE's, especially since we've brought Harris back for 2-3 seasons.
Atleast 10 mill I would imagine considering Jackson was considered second best on the market and basically got 9.
Rappaport reporting Flowers is close to resigning with San Diego. Running out of corners before FA starts.
I'd rather go with cro and milliner and hope he stays healthy then bring in cart williams everything I read says he is a cancer in the locker room
Looking like we are going to have to make a push for Maxwell. There is no way we can run bowles blitzing defense with the crew of db's we currently have on the roster.
Forgot all about him. Not as good as Maxwell but could do decent for us. Rather have a premiere up and coming guy though to hold down the number 1 spot for a long long time.
