Free agency pushed back 72 hours

    wait so when will we see any players cut?

    dammit all i got tonight was collins, that pissed me off

    Collins and Mawae were the only guys cut today. However, according to Mortensen, they could probably be recalled by their teams again. Not that I think they will be.

    If you waited in your house all day for this then you have alot bigger problems than a salary cap.

    They have a deal. The owners and players reached a deal an hour before the deadline. The players would get 59.5% of total revenues (owners caved big time).

    So they postponed the deadline another 3 days

    I think the Raiders took him back for now. They are reporting on ESPN that they cut him before they found out about the extension.

    They really don't have a deal. Tags took what Upshaw came up back to the owners. More because he is trying desperately to right the ship than because he feels the owners will go for it.

    I have to say, I know a lot of people hate Tagliabue, but I think he is doing a great job with this situation right now. The two sides are about as far apart as they can be, but he keeps getting them to push back the deadlines in hopes that things can be resolved in a fair way before the shit hits the fan.
