You've got to be kidding me. I didn't leave my house today so I wouldn't miss any big moves such as Abe being traded or something like that. I basically wasted an entire day because these bastards can't negotiate.
Yeah, sorry, I started a new post about it too. It's just sickening now. Honestly, I think the problem is that the PA just wants to get rid of the cap. I don't think the owners will go for that.
The lesson I learned from the last transit strike: Never wait around for progress. When it happens, you'll know.
Upshaw was saying that its up to the owners because they can't agree on revenue sharing and THAT is the problem. Upshaw was basically saying if they can agree to that they can come to a deal. But who really knows.
I have been watching ESPNnews. They interviewed Upshaw, and he is adamant to not lose share %. He also stressed that it is appealing that there will be no cap. He already said if they play once without a cap, it will never be accepted again.
Mortensen said Tagliabue has agreed to bring Upshaw and the NFLPA's offer to the owners for a vote on Tuesday.
Upshaw is partially to blame the main person holding stuff up in the nflpa is the head nlfpa lawyer the nflpa is screwing the players, a lockout won't benefit anyone, but the people who will end up losing the most in all of this is the actual players in the NFL
